International Institute for Sustainable Development
Policy Initiative: Climate Action
10. September 2018

There is broad agreement that climate change represents a threat to sustainable development; consequently, development efforts must be resilient to the impacts of climate change and related disaster risks in order to be sustainable. This brief provides an introduction to the concept of alignment as it relates to these policy processes.
